Prof. Aruna Tiwari has played a central role in coordinating high-impact events and delivering invited expert talks that connect research, industry, and government in AI, agriculture, and technology.

- Organized a One Day Workshop on "Future of Agriculture – Deep Agri Technology, Markets & FPOs" under AgriHub in collaboration with BharatKhand and Solidaridad, held at IIT Indore on April 21, 2026.
- Organized a Project Outreach and Industry Interaction Meeting under AgriHub, held at ICAR-CIAE, Bhopal on March 11, 2026.
- Organized "One Day Online Workshop on AgriGenomics Data Analysis", jointly with GeneSpectrum Life Sciences, Pune and Bioclues under AgriHub, on December 17, 2025.
- Organized the "AgriConnect: Building Bridges between FPOs, NGOs and Agri Stakeholders" workshop under AgriHub, held at IIT Indore on September 15–16, 2025.
- Inauguration of the technology center for AI/ML & Deep Learning at POD 1E 201-A, IIT Indore on June 12, 2025. The center is equipped with advanced high-computing facilities.
- Organized a one-day online workshop titled "Practical Approach Towards Advanced Deep Learning Concepts" for outside campus students supported by IIT Indore on June 6, 2025.
- Organized a one-day Industry-Academia Workshop on Research Innovation for Commercialization under AgriHub: 2nd workshop, in collaboration with IIT Indore, ICAR-IISR, ICAR-CIAE, and C-DAC Pune supported by MeitY and DST MP, held at IISER Pune on March 10, 2025.
- Organized a one-day workshop titled "Grand Inauguration of AgriHub and One Day Workshop on Technological Development for Sustainable Agriculture" in collaboration with IIT Indore, ICAR-IISR, ICAR-CIAE, and C-DAC Pune, supported by MeitY and DST MP, held at IIT Indore on January 27, 2025.
- Organized a one-day workshop titled "Introduction to Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) for Generative AI" in collaboration with IIT Indore and CSIR-CEERI Pilani, supported by MeitY New Delhi, held at IIT Indore in February 2024.
- Organized a one-day workshop titled "IEEE CIS Workshop on Women in Artificial Intelligence" under IEEE MP Section-CIS Chapter at IIT Indore in January 2024.
- Organized one-day workshop on "Nurturing Sustainability in Agricultural Startups" on October 27, 2023 under CRDT, IIT Indore, with invited experts from MeitY New Delhi, ICAR-IISR Indore, ICAR-CIAE Bhopal, and C-DAC Pune.
- Organized one-day workshop on "Revolutionizing Agriculture through Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning" on August 25, 2023 under CRDT, IIT Indore, with invited speakers from ICAR, agriculture industry, and NGOs.
- Initiated collaboration with Dr. Shashi Rawat, Principal Scientist, Agricultural Mechanization Division, CIAE Bhopal, for development of the Krishi Sewa mobile app in December 2022.
- Delivered a special session for IEEE FUZZ-IEEE 2021, Luxembourg (July 11–14, 2021) on "Scalable Incremental Fuzzy Learning Techniques for Big Data and Genome Sequence Analysis."
- Organized the 10th International Conference on Soft Computing for Problem Solving (SocProS 2020), jointly with SCRS, Delhi, from December 18–20, 2020.
- Organized the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) 3 short course on "Recent Trends in Machine Learning and Soft Computing" from December 18–20, 2020.
- Served as Distinguished Person in the Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence track at VLSID 2020, Bangalore (January 4–8, 2020).
- Organized the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme(TEQIP) sponsored active learning course on "Fundamentals of Data Analytics" from November 30–December 3, 2019, with Dr. Vinti Agarwal (NTNU, Norway).
- Organized research collaboration activities with Dr. Stephen L. Smith (University of York) on "Cancer Disease Diagnosis using Soft Computing Algorithms" from September 4–6, 2019.
- Organized the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) short course "How to do good research? & how to write papers/thesis using LATEX" from March 26–28, 2019.
- Organized the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP) short course on Machine Learning from December 13–15, 2018.
- Delivered tutorials on "Medical Applications of Computational Intelligence" with Professor Stephen Smith and Arpit Bhardwaj at IEEE SSCI 2018, Bengaluru (November 18–21, 2018).
- Hosted Dr. Stephen L. Smith from York University at IIT Indore on February 9, 2018, to discuss formal collaboration and deliver an expert talk on evolutionary computation for Parkinson's disease diagnosis.
- Organized a student interaction with Mr. Amit Saxena, CDAC Bioinformatics, Pune on February 9, 2018, on "Computational approaches to tackle biological complexities."
- Organized the International Symposium on Computational Mathematics, Optimization, and Computational Intelligence (CMOCI 2017) at IIT Indore from July 17–19, 2017.
- Organized the one-day research workshop that enabled MOU signing with CSIR-CEERI Pilani on September 16, 2016.
- Organized the GIAN short-term course "Neural Network Learning Theory – Advanced Topics" with Dr. Suresh Sundaram from July 6–15, 2016.

Old Professional Activities
- Coordinated the activities of the Distance Education Program in collaboration with IIT Bombay for 12 years. During this period, organized various ISTE workshops — on Database Management Systems, Computer Programming, and Research Methodology — as well as some PG-level courses, and developed a laboratory for Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
- Organized a short-term course for Class-3 employees.
- Organized a national conference in December 2007, and another conference in December 2005 under the banner of the Computer Society of India, Indore Chapter.
- Organized many expert lectures and seminars at the department level and under the banner of the Computer Society of India.
- Member of the Board of Studies at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal.
- Appointed as Assistant Superintendent of Examination and OSD several times in UG/PG examinations at the previous institute.
- Elected as Secretary (twice) and Treasurer (three times) for the Computer Society of India, Indore Chapter.
